WOW! ‘Befikre’ passed with U/A certificate without any kissing scene being cut

When the posters and the trailer of ‘Befikre’ were out, the first thing that came in our mind was; how will CBFC react to this film? How many cuts will this film get? Well, the answer is quite shocking.

According to an entertainment web portal, the movie was certified yesterday and has been given a U/A certificate, and kissing scenes remain untouched. CBFC has surprisingly not asked the makers of the film to cut the kissing scenes in the movie.

Yesterday, at the ‘You And Me’ song launch of ‘Befikre’, Ranveer said, “They (CBFC) have seen the movie, and we also got a U/A certificate. We have got the certificate in our hands. We are very happy.”

Ranveer says that the film is very desi at heart. “Iss film ka jo dil hai woh desi hai. And if you go to see the vision of filmmaker Aditya Chopra itself, in his very first song that he released ‘Labon ka karobaar’, it’s an attempt to show a kiss in a very different way. Like with a lot of love, laughter and warmth! No one will be offended after watching this movie. Sometimes when you go with your kids when the kiss comes you hide your face or feel awkward. Nothing of that sort will happen in this film.”

The actor is all praises for CBFC. He said, “I think the censor has also aligned to the fact that in our film a kiss is shown with a same kind of warmth as a hug. We are happy that we got this certificate and it is a family film. And I would just say that everyone should go and watch this happy film.”

‘Befikre’ is slated to release on December 9.
