Ae Dil Hai Mushkil audience reaction: Ranbir Kapoor shines, SRK cameo appreciated

ae-dil-hai-mushkil-7592People have appreciated Ae Dil Hai Mushkil and Ranbir Kapoor came in for special praise.

“Ranbir Kapoor the actor is back and how,” gushed audience members after the housefull first show of Ae Dil Hai Mushkil. Viewers just couldn’t get enough of this talented star’s brilliant presence in Karan Johar’s directorial.

At Fun cinema, we spoke to a dozen members of audience and not a single one had anything adverse to say about the film. Right from the plot to the performances, viewers were hooked and booked to their seats watching Johar’s magnum opus. And the man responsible for the same was largely the Kapoor scion. Said a viewer, “Ranbir shines throughout the movie with his exceptional acting. He is the backbone of the film and it’s nice to see how with every new film one gets to see a new facet of his acting.”

Viewers at Carnival cinema too were equally appreciative of the actor’s performance. Anushka too came in for some sharp praise and people praised the sizzling chemistry between the two stars. The disappointment was, however, written large on many faces owing to Aishwarya’s short role in the film. Said a viewer,” We wanted to see more of her. She is hardly in the film for 15 minutes. She looked as beautiful as ever. Unfortunately, it was a very short role which came as a surprise for us.”

Fawad Khan, the Pakistani actor whose presence almost ended up stalling the movie’s release made no great impact on the mind of viewers through his special appearance. “The entire brouhaha was uncalled for. The actor has a minor role in the film and makes no great difference.”

Among the many cameos that ADHM boasts of the best one undoubtedly belonged to SRK. A joyous viewer said, “SRK stole the thunder with his cameo. Kha gaya film ko unhone apne dialogue se.”

On the flip side was the climax which many felt was sad and the same could have been avoided. “The suspense throughout the film was well maintained only to be watered down with an ending that we didn’t quite like. Karan could have thought about a better one perhaps,” opined a few viewers.

With most theatres already having been booked for the Diwali weekend, ADHM looks poised to make a killing at the box-office in the days to come.
