LEAKED PIC! Ranveer Singh sports wearing a turban, his look for ‘Padmavati’

As many of his fans and moviegoers know, actor Ranveer Singh has already started prepping up for director Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s next period drama film ‘Padmavati‘. The actor will be seen essaying the character of the powerful ruler Alauddin Khilji and recently we came across a picture of him leaked on the internet, which sees Ranveer sporting a traditional look.

Ranveer is sporting a turban which somewhat resembles the ensemble of Mughal kings of that era. Would it be safe to assume that this look is for ‘Padmavati’? Well, looks like. Quite interesting, this would be a sheer delight for all his fans out there.

Apart from Ranveer, actor Shahid Kapoor will be seen playing the role of Raja Rawal Ratan Singh, Rajput ruler and husband of queen Padmavati, played by Deepika Padukone, in the period drama. Ranveer’s character Alauddin Khilji, the medieval-era Delhi sultan, is the one who falls in love with Padmavati. The role of Alauddin Khilji’s wife is reportedly being played by Aditi Rao Hydari. The shooting of the film has already started.

‘Padmavati’ is slated to release on November 17, 2017.
