Revealed: This is why Aamir Khan did not have a grand trailer launch for ‘Dangal’

However important it is for Bollywood stars these days to plan every activity of their upcoming movie in presence of the media, Aamir Khan believes differently.

Aamir launched the trailer of his much-talked-about next, ‘Dangal’ on social media yesterday, rather than keeping a grand event and calling the media. While everyone wondered as to what made him take this decision, here is the exact reason for the same.

Aamir wants to stay away from being misquoted yet again, over the India-Pakistan issue and also wants the focus to stay on his movie and not anything else. Says a source, “Aamir was planning to have a grand media launch for his Dangal trailer this week but he felt that he would be asked uncomfortable questions at the event and whatever he says on the matter will take centre stage. This would go against the very purpose of launching the trailer. Aamir doesn’t want any negative publicity at this stage and the focus to go away from Dangal, so being the intelligent actor that he is, he launched the trailer on social media.”

Well, that was a very wise decision and we couldn’t have expected anything less of him.
