Uh, oh! Did you know ‘Befikre’ could have been offered to this actor?

After watching the trailer and songs of ‘Befikre’, it is kind of impossible to think of anyone else playing the character of Dharam apart from Ranveer Singh. However, do you know, there were slim chances of the role being offered to another YRF actor? Yes, we are talking about Sushant Singh Rajput who is currently revelling the success of ‘M.S.Dhoni: The Untold Story’.

If sources are to be believed, Sushant was kind of expecting the role to come to him, post ‘Shuddh Desi Romance’, but it went to Ranveer eventually. Sources also suggest that this was the reason of Sushant’s alleged fallout with YRF.

This is not the first time that Ranveer has stepped on Sushant’s toes in professional terms, although unintentionally. Even Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s ‘Goliyon Ki Rasleela – Ram Leela’ was reportedly offered to Sushant first, but he had to turn it down due to unavailability of dates. Eventually the role went to Ranveer, and we know what a turning point the movie turned out to be, in his career.

Well, we have mixed feelings on imagining Sushant, either as Ram, or as Dharam. No doubt he is an amazing actor, but these two characters seem like they have been written just for Ranveer. No hard feels though, Sushant, we loved you in the roles that you have played.
