Mother Teji Bachchan was most influential in Amitabh Bachchan's life

Amitabh Bachchan is one person who never backs from speaking his mind out, be it in his movies or on his social media handles. One such example is his recently released flick 'PINK,' which has influenced women all around to come out strong amidst all adversities.

In a recent interview, when the 74-year-old actor was enquired about the women who had an influence on him, he attributed his personality to his mother, Teji Bachchan.
"..my mother was the overall influence. I would go to her on all matters, good or bad," he told Filmfare.

The legendary actor added, "I was fortunate to have had a balanced mix of both worlds - the East and the West. My mother grew up in a more Western environment, in an affluent home, English nannies and all. My father was from the lower-middle class. But both had progressive thoughts, ideas and beliefs. My mother was always encouraging towards freedom of thought and deed, the pursuit of which I made choice of. And also to never to give up a fight until it is won."
