Threats could keep the audience away: Ajay Devgn on ‘ADHM’ controversy

Karan Johar and team 'Ae Dil Hai Mushkil' have been braving the storm as their film nears release next Friday. While the Cinema Owners Exhibitors Association of India (COEAI) decided to stall the film's release in single screens, members of MNS (Maharashtra Navnirman Sena) threatened to vandalise multiplexes if they decide to screen the movie.Ajay Devgn, who is also awaiting the release of his film 'Shivaay,' on the same day, has voiced his concerns about this raging controversy.

 In an exclusive interview with Bombay Times, Ajay admitted that these threats are not only bad for the makers of 'ADHM,' but also for his home production and theBollywood film industry at large. He said, "It bothers me that multiplexes are also under threat. It's harmful to both the films — Shivaay and ADHM — and our industry. The threat could keep the audience away from theatres."
