Pooja Hegde takes to aerial silk

In order to stay in shape and improve her agility, actress Pooja Hegde (Miss Universe India 2010 2nd Runner-up) has taken to an acrobatic dance form, aerial silk. The form requires one to climb a suspended fabric without a safety harness. It strengthens the upper body and the core. It also increases flexibility.

inspired by international singer P!nk to take up this form. "I saw her perform this at the Grammy's and have been obsessed ever since. I had a fear of height. I wasn't flexible either. While the fear still remains, my overall fitness level has increased," says Pooja.
