Irrfan to romance four actresses in Tanuja Chandra's film

Irrfan Khan will be romancing four ladies in Tanuja Chandra's film. A source from the unit says, "It is a breezy, slice-of-life love story that goes back and forth between Irrfan, his exes and his current love interest. An unlikely duo fall in love in the midst of their road trip. The other women give context to the romance."

So far, Tanuja has held numerous auditions. "The names being discussed in her office corridors are Richa Chadha, Kalki Koechlin and Pooja Hegde. They are still in the discussion phase, all set to sign on the dotted line by the end of this week after figuring out their dates," says the unit hand.

The film was originally supposed to start rolling in November, right after the release of Inferno. The past few weeks have been choc-a-bloc for Irrfan; he scuttled between Delhi (where he wrapped a major chunk of his film, Hindi Medium), Florence and Mumbai (where he was promoting Inferno).

Says the source, "Once casting is final, he will begin prepping for the role and attend workshops with Tanuja."
