Box office: Romance works better than stunts in ‘ADHM’ vs ‘Shivaay’ clash

Two big budget films clashing at the box office always creates a tough competition and well, ‘Ae Dil Hai Mushkil’ clashing with ‘Shivaay’ is no exception! Both the films were in the news for many reasons and both the films were expected to be good. But it seems Bollywood’s old mantra of love and romance will always work better than the high-octane stunts. In the box office clash of ‘ADHM’ and ‘Shivaay’, the former seems to be taking a good lead over the other. The first day collection of the films is the proof.

As per the statistics, ‘ADHM’ collected approximately Rs 13 crore nett on its opening day while ‘Shivaay’ managed to mint only Rs 8.75 crore nett at the box office. It seems Ranbir Kapoor and Anushka Sharma’s magic has worked well on the audience and Ajay’s over-the-top stunts didn’t entice the audience.
