Is the clash between Rajinikanth’s 2.0 and Ajay Devgn’s Golmaal Again still on?

Rohit Shetty will soon begin shooting for the 4th installment of the Golmaal Series. The stars from the previous films – Ajay Devgn, Arshad Warsi, Tusshar Kapoor will be part of this one as well. Now there were rumours, that the Golmaal Again team has pushed the release date form Diwali 2017 to another day to avoid clash with Superstar Rajinikanth‘s 2.0. but turns out these stories are untrue. Here’s what Golmaal’s spokesperson has to say, The makers will be releasing the film next year on Diwali. As of now, they don’t possess information about any other big release next year, which hereby squashes the news of any such clash. ‘Golmaal Again’ is all set to go on floors early next year. If any further developments on the same take place, as official publicists of ‘Golmaal Again’, we will send you an update.”

But here’s the thing according to Rajinikanth’s fan club, a known film critic has mentioned that producers from Bollywood have confirmed that Rajinikanth’s 2.0 is all set for release on October 19. Now, that’s around Diwali as well! So is the clash on?

Now that’s going to be exciting. For the 4th part of Golmaal Again, there are plans on bringing Shraddha Kapoor on board. As mentioned, they will begin shooting by next year. As of now Ajay devgn is busy with Shivaay Promotions. As for Rajinikanth’s 2.0, the team has completed 2/3 rds of the film within 150 days. Although 2.0 is being called a sequel to Enthiran, it’s an independent film on its on. The big surprise about 2.0 is the antagonist played by none other Akshay Kumar! Yes, he’s making his Tamil debut by playing a baddie in a Rajinikanth film. it can’t get better than this. He plays Dr Richards who turns into a crow as a result of an experiment gone wrong. Reportedly, the climax sequence between the two has been already shot. The renowned Stunt Silva confirmed this to a leading portal. In this moVie Amy Jackson will be the female lead.

The film is reportedly being made on a budget of Rs 350 crore. It will release in Hindi, Tamil and Telugu. While they are looking at a release in 2017, the first look will be out this November. Only a month away! Woohoo! So how excited are you for both films?
