Kaabil teaser: Hrithik Roshan’s voiceover sets the tone for an edgy thriller

When Sanjay Gupta announced that his next is with Hrithik Roshan and it will be calledKaabil, we were deeply interested. It was an unusual combo. Hrithik, the heartthrob of millions, to be directed by Sanjay Gupta who is perhaps the only person who makes us feel proud of Hollywood remakes in India. His Kaante is one of our favourites. It was definitely a unique blend and that made us increasingly interested in the film. But lately, it has been mostly in the news for its clash with Raees next year. Although reports suggest that Shah Rukh Khan doesn’t wants to spoil his equation with Rakesh Roshan by doing that and is considering another release date, no confirmation on the same has been received. But what we saw today, made us believe that Raees if decides to stay put will see stiff competition. The film also stars Yami Gautam opposite Hrithik Roshan and thus the pairing is very fresh. Let us tell you how the tease fared.

Now there’s a very obvious answer to that. It’s Hrithik, Hrithik and only Hrithik. Though we didn’t see him in the teaser, we could hear him and man! he is still able to make our hearts race with his voice. The teaser which is barely few seconds long has him talking about the darkness of life. His voiceover will make you crave for a full trailer which will only be ready for a watch next week. This Diwali will be so great.

The teaser left us wanting for more and we expected it to have more than what was shown or heard rather. A bit of Hrithik would have made the teaser a little more interesting. What we heard is amazing as well but we wanted the visuals.

Kaabil’s teaser is what we thought it would be, intriguing and intense. Now the wait is for next week when the trailer will release and we are sure it will leave us in awe of it. The makers have even planned a build up for the same from today itself. It began with the teaser which they will continue with posters and other promotional materials of the film to finally reveal the trailer. WOW!
