Aishwarya Rai Bachchan reveals ‘Ae Dil Hai Mushkil’ is not all about her

There have been reports that Aishwarya Rai Bachchan has only a 20-minute role in ‘Ae Dil Hai Mushkil’, and we won’t be surprised if the reports turn out to be true. Well, we are saying this because Ash herself has stated that ‘ADHM’ is not all about her and Anushka’s character has the longest graph in the film.

In an interview with a leading magazine, Aishwarya said, “The film is not all about me. Anushka’s character has the longest graph in terms of screen time. It is also about Ayan (Ranbir Kapoor) and his evolution through his different relationships. There is a reflection of a societal dynamic through Fawad Khan’s character. And there is an insight into a woman’s ability to hold onto a relationship, to move away from it and also to engage in other relationships in life. A person may have been part of your life briefly and yet remain so impactful that he or she can fashion your entire perspective.”

Directed by Karan Johar, ‘ADHM’ is currently facing a lot of protest as it stars Pakistani actor Fawad Khan in it. The movie is slated to release on October 28.
